INSIGHT Conference 2025: Inspiring the health and care researchers of tomorrow

The NIHR INSIGHT Programme for Yorkshire and Humber Conference 2025 ‘Inspiring the health and care researchers of tomorrow’, held on March 27th at Cloth Hall Court in Leeds, was a dynamic and engaging event aimed at inspiring the next generation of health and care researchers. The conference brought together pre-registration healthcare students from across the Yorkshire and Humber region, providing them with opportunities to explore potential careers in research. Attendees participated in breakout sessions and small group discussions, alongside keynote speeches and networking opportunities with professionals from universities and employing organisations. The event also featured a live research project using the ‘buzz wire’ game, giving students hands-on experience in the field. The conference offered valuable resources for future researchers.
Soft Launch Event

We were delighted to welcome members of the NIHR Yorkshire and Humber INSIGHT Group to the University of Leeds from across the region. The day was extremely productive in establishing how we can promote the Masters places, ensure we have our Universities engaged in our INSIGHT activities and crucially, how we can embed the programme within the NHS and Care communities.
